WebFeb 7, 2024 · Hi, I have noticed that for ChIP-seq BAM files, bamCoverage is extremely slow. The following bamCoverage call over a BAM of ~2k reads (830Kb) takes more than 15min. I'm using the latest deeptools available in conda (bamCoverage 2.5.7), but the same is true for my previous deeptools version (2.2.4).
