WebJun 11, 2016 · Hi there, I took Citalopram for 18 months it took me 4 months to get up to 40mg and for them to work. I weaned off and was off them for a year. Then bang out if the boy the anxiety came back. I am going into week 5 of Sertraline 2 weeks at 50mg and then increases to 100mg.
